The name “luxury board” in my gourmet hotel in Valle Aurina says it all. There is something to delight my palate morning, noon and night. Starting with the breakfast buffet. Locally-sourced organic produce. Home-made bread and cakes. Freshly squeezed juices. Home-made jam and spreads. South Tyrolean cheese and sausage. The selection is huge, the quality exceptional. And let’s not forget the sparkling wine breakfast every Sunday and Wednesday – a delight! This is the perfect start to the day for me. And this perfection continues.
Every afternoon from 2 p.m. to 4.30 p.m., there are fresh salads. Warm soups. Sausages. Cakes. All kinds of snacks, which whets my appetite for the delicious evening meal to come. In the meantime, host Sepp, his daughter Sarah, and Silvano prepare the six-course evening meal. Sometimes there are South Tyrolean specialities. Sometimes Italian or vegetarian dishes. The love of regional products is included in everyone. On special nights, I can watch the chef preparing my dishes as part of the show cooking kitchen. What a great experience!
